Ticket Types Explained
- Standard Weekend Ticket: Probably the most popular ticket. Gives you your entry to the festival, a wrist band to see all the music, and gives you all your camping.
- Day Ticket: Tight budget ? Only a few bands you want to see? Day tickets are a perfect solution.
- Day Early Pass: At £10 the day early pass is definitely something you should consider. It allows entry to the park one day earlier than the rest of the weekender’s, but their is no entertainment. So make it yourself! it will ensure an ultimate camping place! These tickets were sold on the gate last year.
Age Restrictions
No under 16’s allowed unless accompanied by a ticket holder over the age of 18 (adult).
Children under the age of 13 are admitted free but must be accompanied by at least one adult ticket holder.
When Will I get My Ticket?
Your ticket should arrive 7 - 10 days before the start of the festival. This is to help cut down on their duplication.
Other Useful Information
Early entry ticket permits one person to one extra night of camping at Leeds Festival. It has to be used in conjunction with a weekend ticket.
Tips and Advice For Ticket Sale Day
- Bookmark Leeds Festival ticket outlets: Your best bet is to bookmark as many ticket outlets as possible and keep checking them for the release of more tickets. More often than not, a site will hold back a certain amount of tickets for the unfortunate few. Also, keep checking out this site for information about more tickets going on sale.
- Talk to People: It is more that likely that many people have bought a spare ticket for the event, just incase a friend missed out. Try and track down those people using Leeds related forums and websites. Talk to people get answers Don’t give up just yet!!
- Don’t Forget Coach Tickets: You can still get your hands on coach tickets that pick up from all over the country. Not only that but its green as well!
- Don’t Leave it: Don’t be under the impression that you can leave ticket buying a few days. Generally, the tickets will sell out on the day that they come out, so make sure you have everything ready to buy.
- Credit Card: Make sure you have a credit card. Many sites do not except debit or visa electron, even though the majority of buyers own these cards. SO borrow from your parents or from a friend. Its the last thing you will want to sort out when you want to buy a ticket.
- Be Patent: Many of the sites you choose to buy tickets from will be very busy on the day the tickets are released. keep hitting your refresh button as well as CTRL+F5 to get that damn page loaded! Don’t think that the site is down when an error comes up. Its probably just overloaded. You will need to wait to get a space.
- Consider getting two: If you have the money it may be a good idea to try and get hold of two tickets. I am in no way suggesting you should buy 100 and then sell them all on eBay. Buying two may mean that you can help a freind out. This happened to my friend group last year and it came in very useful.
- Help Others: Use anything in your power to get your friends that ticket that they want. Contacts in tickets shops etc etc. Just make sure your friends get one.
- Avoid ebay panic buying: Don’t be pushed into paying a lot of money for a ticket of ebay. The chances are some more tickets could be released, or you could find someone on the internet thats willing to sell theirs to you at a reasonable price. Its not the end of the world if you don’t get your ticket on the first day!
- Avoid the tout sites that have been listed above. You will not receive tickets from these websites. They are merely out to steal your money!
