Leeds Festival 2012 officials have announced that they are offering out apprenticeship positions this year.

“We have announced plans to introduce a new Reading & Leeds apprenticeship and internship scheme to invite attendees for this year’s festival to see how things work behind the scenes.”

Leeds Festival organisers are giving those that have purchased a weekend ticket the chance to become the Lord or Lady Mayor of Leeds Festival 2012.

Bands that will perform on the Leeds Festival 2012 Lock-up Stage have been confirmed by organisers.

Taking to the stage will be the following bands:

Kaiser Chiefs Look Set for Leeds Festival 2012 Performance

It looks like the Kaiser Chiefs will take a slot at Leeds Festival 2012.

A member of the BBC introducing team confirmed that the band will play today.

The majority of the Line-up will be officially confirmed at 7:15pm tonight with acts such as the Foo Fighters, Bloc Party and more expected to be confirmed.

Tickets also go on sale at the same time.
