On top of the confirmation of Blink 182, Leeds Festival organisers have also named a handful of acts that will appear at Leeds Festival 2014.
Disclosure, I Am Legion, Jake Bugg, Metronomy, Of Mice & Men and Wilkinson will all make a performance at next year’s bash following an announcement on the official website today.
“Can you believe that’s just the start? Loads more names will be coming your way over the next few months. You know what to do…grab your mates and get involved,” organisers stated.

Organisers of Leeds Festival 2014 have confirmed that punk-rock legends Blink 182 will take one of the prestigious headline slots at next summer’s bash.
Blink are expected to perform a mash of old material as well as new hits from their up-and-coming 7th studio album which will be released in 2014.
Mark Hoppus added, “I’m stoked to play Reading & Leeds 2014. It’s our fourth time playing the festivals, and we’re very honoured. The new year will see us in the studio preparing new music, getting ready to rock the fine people of the UK. Prepare for the fury.1”

Organisers of Leeds Festival 2014 have revealed that they will make a ‘big announcement’ regarding the line-up at the start of December 2013.
From the wording on the official website, it looks like this will be the naming of one band (perhaps one of the three main stage headliners?)
Currently the likes of Queens of the Stone Age, Kanye West and Arctic Monkeys are rumoured to make an appearance at next year’s bash. Take a look at our Leeds Festival rumours page for more details.

Organisers of Leeds Festival 2014 have confirmed that ‘the best British band’ has been confirmed for the event.
At the moment there is no further hints to who the band may be, but rumours suggest that it could be Sheffield’s finest, Arctic Monkeys.
“Just booked one of the best British bands of the last decade! Can’t wait for #RandL14,” one of the organisers Tweeted.
Leeds Festival 2014 will take place between 22 – 24 August 2014 at Bramham Park.

Tickets for Leeds Festival 2014 are currently on sale, locked at last year’s prices with no booking fee.
A weekend pass will cost you £202.50 but you will have to pay for the postage cost.
They are availible through all the usual providers including See Tickets and Ticket master.

One of our readers has e-mailed us to say that The 1975 self-confirmed Leeds Festival 2013 at a gig recently.
So far there is nothing about the date on their official website, so we can only trust their announcement and our reader at this point.
Leeds Festival 2013 takes place on 23 – 25th August with artists such as Eminem, System of a Down and Fall Out Boy already officially confirmed.

Biffy Clyro have been officially confirmed as the second headliner for Leeds Festival 2013.
The announcement was made by Zane Lowe on Radio 1 just moments ago.
Tribes were also as good as confirmed when one of their members* told Lowe that he ‘couldn’t deny we won’t be there, but can’t confirm we will be either,’ followed by ‘you’ll get me in trouble Zane’…Looks likely in other words!
System of a Down, Bring Me The Horizon, Jake Bugg, Foals and Fall Out Boy were also all officially confirmed for the 2013 bash which takes place 23 to 25th August 2013 at Bramham Park, Leeds.

American rapper Eminem is currently the only confirmed headliner for the 2013 event.
