The Leeds/Reading Alliance
Hello,
there isn’t much news going on at the moment because it is a long long way from the Leeds Carling Weekend. However i would like to take this time to introduce you to a site that you may also find useful. Its the same sort of idea as this Leeds festival blog, except that its for the Reading Weekend (i know…its not as good but hey! :P). We have decided to join forces and share news that might be applicable to both festival weekends. We thought this might be a good route to go down i.e. exchanging news that we find (information on tickets etc ).
Film Competition
Leeds Festival Held its very own film competition at the 2006 weekend.
The competition searched for the biggest festival fans to record their festival experiences at the Carling Weekend: Leeds Festival. Given a top of the range camcorder (which they got to keep afterwards) to record their festival diary. There was no script - the winners recorded everything that reflected their festival weekend. The footage was shown on the main stage to crowds of over 100 thousand.
Its all gone quiet!
There hasn’t been much news about the festival recently :(, so therefore i havn’t posted anything! Im not worried about it because its still along time away. i’ll keep this place updated if any news comes up though!
