I dunno about the BBC introducing ’stage’ i think the FR stage maybe be sponsered by the BBC as half those acts on the list are part of the whole BBC introducing set of bands anyway, Late of the Pier etc….

well when i went to radio one big weekend, fighting with wire were on the introducing stage, so they mustve either moved up on to the new stage or as you say its a shared stage like NME and Radio1 stage?

    only time will tell!

do you think there is any more acts to go onto the main stage and NME/Radio1?

    fingers crossed for storyoftheyear!

I think if it was paired it would say so above the acts like how the NME/radio1 tent is. Maybe the introducing stage will be announced at a later date. Cheers for the comments

Yeah, the more stages they bring to the festival the more clashes that occur! its a shame :)

Does it offend you yeah? would be good to see. I notice three of the bands on the same day have “black” in their name, thought that was pretty funny!

I don’t think there are any more stages than last year. The festival republic stage will replace last years carling tent and the BBC introducing stage will replace the topman tent from last year. Do we know what days and what order the ‘other act’ bands are playing on the FR stage?

ah yes good point. I had forgotten about the Topman stage. I should really message FR and find out what all this is about. The stage situation is quite confusing! :)
