Cage the Elephant for Leeds Festival 2008?
A band called Cage the Elephant self confirmed themselves for Leeds Festival this week. One of our readers met with the band and they announced the slot.
Sophie left us a comment saying, “I met the singer of Cage the Elephant the other night and he said he was playing Leeds and Reading fest although its not announced on their myspace…”
Unfortunately I couldn’t find out anything about the band. Their official website is currently under construction and there is nothing about them on wikipedia either.

what does everyone think about having a youtube vid embedded at the bottom of band based posts?
good idea seeing as theres no other way of getting info on them! heard that song a couple of days ago, not a bad tune to be honest, they could be worth seeing

Ive seen these guys before, they were supporting Simple Plan, there OK. But they didn’t seem to impress me much.
I didn’t really understand their other stuff, it just seemed really random compared to the video I posted…
Another band to self confirm are Johnny Foreigner. Personally I think there ace and well worth watching. The tracks I reccomend to listen to are Lea Room, Our Bipolar
Friends, Salt, Pepa And Spinderella, Eyes Wide Terrified and Cranes And Cranes And Cranes And Cranes. (Yes the title repeats Itself 4 times) There on the Friday at Leeds and id say they will be on the festival republic stage.
