Greenday Not Yet Confirmed!
A few people have been E-mailing me to tell me that Greenday have confirmed their Leeds Festival slot, but when looking at their tour dates the information is out of date.
At the moment, Greenday are not confirmed!
However this does not mean that I don’t think they will play. They have been rumoured by various websites.
I hope that clears up some confusion for some people!

Greenday would be good, especially if they play older songs from albums like dookie, i want The Offspring again they rule

Would be so cool to see offspring again! Seen them twice, once at leeds festy and 1ce at SECC in Glasgow, each time they were amazing!
Hope Greenday do go, luv them too!

fightstar will be playing reading/leeds
as i have contact with a member of the official myspace fightstar street team and she says they have told her they are doing all major festivals

Once again this is a case of people getting overexcited about what is in front of them.
This has been happening since 2004! Every year people go onto the Greenday website (which hasn’t been updated in 4 years by the looks of it) and become all excited when they read that Greenday will be playing Reading and Leeds in August. OPEN YOUR EYES! It’s dated 2004!!
Besides, the Greenday members are all currently concentrating on a side project band called Foxboro Hot Tubs (look it up!) so it is unlikely that Greenday themselves will play the festival, or any gigs, in the near future.

I looked in the fightstar website and there is only confirmation that they are playing download!
