Slipknot Down as ‘Strong Rumour’ For Leeds 2008
http://efestivals.com and various other festival orientated websites have reported that Slipknot are a strong rumour for Leeds Festival 2008.
The American nu metal band from Des Moines have nothing on their website at the moment. Under tour dates it literally says “To Be Announced.”
Luckily now we only have seven days until all the rumours are uncovered!
What are your thoughts on Slipknot playing Leeds? Do you think they have the right crowd? Please leave your comments!

Well i live in leeds and i like slipknot and i know a lot of people who also like them, but Leeds fest seems to be more of an indy festival of late and so they may be better received at download, but ill defintely be going if there playing even if its just for the day.

urgh, not true
they’re playing in New jersey on thursday 21st of August.
No chance they’ll fly over and bring all they’re gear over just to play at Leeds and Reading.
However much i wish this was true, its just not.

this rumour has been on a few forums. machine head have been suggested also because they are on tour in the u.s. with slipknot. they’re playing the rockstar mayhem festival july-august. not too sure about the dates. there’s a good chance they will play because they have an album out around sept. i hope its true!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Slipknot fans will know that in the past they have played 2 festivals in one day between 2 different countris, so maybe the problems with a New Jersey show the day before arent such of a problem after all?

hi there, thanks for the comment. Yeah i agree with you, i remember seeing an AC/DC tour list once and one day they played Australia and then next Germany, or something as equally mad. I wouldn’t be surprised if slipknot play both!
