Bloc Party at Leeds Festival 2008?
Bloc Party are now rumoured for a place at this years Leeds Festival.
The band last played Leeds in 2007.
Interestingly, if they play, it will be the third time they have made an appearance at Leeds. They were at both the 2005 and the 2007 festivals.

I think i would like to see them play, just because i think some of their songs are ok, and they have a lot of energy, which is good for a festival!

Saw them in 2005 and 2007 and they were brilliant on both ocassions so I would welcome another visit from these boys!

I have ever got into bloc party, always seem them as very middle of the road, and massivley overrated; I’d much prefer a band like Dirty Pretty Things or The Kooks as a similar sized band

and in manchester last december

seen them 7 times
their best set being in 2005 at leeds fest
they did an interview for nme saying they could have a new album done by the end of the year, so 2008 could be the first oppurtunity to hear new stuff?

Bloc party are probably the most accomplished indie band in the UK right now - with Maximo Park in close second place. Of course I’d like to see them play - caught them at Leeds 2007 and they were immense.

They were absolute crap last year, they were cocky and sounded crap. I was bitterly dissapointed. So maybe if they come again they will redeem themselves.
