Like every year, rumours have already in circulation: Rage against the machine could be playing at Leeds Festival 2008. Lets keep our fingers and toes crossed eh?

Like i keep saying, they are basically rumoured for every festival this year so who knows?

the chances of RATM playing at leeds fest are minimal since it’s now 7 years since there split and there only rumoured properly to play in america at the chaocelle (can’t remember spelling) festival… So… not a chance. would be fantesticle if they did cos i’d come home from spain earlier just to see them.
FANTASTIC BAND. I don’t think there’s anyone in the world who could dislike there political views. Can’t say how much i enjoy.

It is more possible than most might think! They actually played at Cochella last year, so they did officially reform. Like you say great band etc but just watch this space, its more likely than you might think and I’ve heard from some pretty reliable sources that they will be there!

well it seems possible, seeing they are playing rock am ring and rock im park with metallica, as well as the pinkpop festival as well as a fesitvla headlining spot in getafe and playing in spain too, go to ratm.com to check it out.Downlaod fits exactly with their schedule but they have gigs on may june and july confirmed all over europe, so you never know. also the head of the fesitval said there are going to be three american headliners, and metallica and foos are headlining rock am ring as well as 2 other festivals together

Hi there Matt, thanks a lot for that information. To be honest i probably should do a little more research into this rumour and find out how likely it is! The news i got from a source was that they were almost confirmed and were in talks with Festival Republic!!
Anyway, hopefully i will get some spare time to do some research soon!

if you go on efesitals.co.uk, they have rage down as ready to be confirmed.
Take what you want from that, but that site usually isnt wrong and is the most up to date and accurate rumour and festival lineup site, and they also have metalica down as a rumour but for that im not so sure

rage been announced fo t in the park in scotland and oxegen in dublin
